MESS4GE Presentation at the DISCUSS Learning Conference 2024
On October 30th, 2024, the MESS4GE project was presented at the 6th annual DISCUSS Learning Conference, hosted by IDEC SA. With over 100 participants in attendance, Zoe Batsi, a key representative of the MESS4GE initiative, delivered an insightful presentation outlining the project’s pivotal role in empowering European SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) to integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices into their strategies and reporting processes.
The presentation highlighted how ESG can make businesses more sustainable through actions like reducing CO₂ emissions, promoting workplace inclusion, and improving transparency and governance. Tools such as training programs and self-assessment resources were also shared, showing how MESS4GE can help SMEs better understand and report on their sustainability efforts.
This presentation aligned perfectly with the themes of the conference, which aimed to inspire collective action for a greener, fairer future. By connecting education, sustainability, and innovation, MESS4GE is contributing to building a stronger and more responsible business landscape in Europe.
The success of MESS4GE at the DISCUSS Learning Conference highlights the increasing recognition of ESG as an important point of sustainable business practices. By building awareness, offering practical resources, and promoting collaboration, MESS4GE wants to set the way for a more inclusive, resilient, and environmentally responsible business landscape across Europe.
